Hybrid cars are the newest "hot" thing to hit the automotive industry and they are taking it by storm. And one of the major reasons they are so popular is one that you realize every time you put that nozzle to your gas tank. Gas is going up in prices and showing no plans of stopping.
Whether these gas prices are just a trend or a sign of things to come, they make anyone who has a pocketbook want to find a solution and quick, money is on the line. So why should hybrids matter to you?
A hybrid is a combination of two power sources. The gasoline electric hybrid vehicle is just that.
It uses both gas and electricity for power sources. Of course in the future other ones may be available, such as one that runs on water and gas ( this one is already in the works, you can buy conversion kits on line already!) or ones that will run on solar power, with gasoline being the backup fuel source on cloudy days and such. Most companies have begun to develop these as a reaction to the cost of fuel and the fact that our fossil fuels that we use for gas are quickly depleting and we are being forced to seek alternative methods for the day we run out of gas.
Hybrids may be the wave of the future, but the future starts right here and right now. A hybrid vehicle is something that has the potential to change the way we view vehicles and the emissions they release and the natural resources they deplete. They may not be for everyone, but for the majority of people a hybrid vehicle should be something you look into, before it is too late.
Hybrid cars are something anyone concerned about their pocketbook or environment should consider switching to. To find out how to save on gas with your current car click here!

Convert Your Car Into a Hybrid
Okay, it is official. Even the cheapest gas is almost unaffordable.
The obvious solution if you are having trouble keeping up with this bizarre costs, might be to convert your car into a hybrid. But that might be an expensive answer, even after factoring in the savings at the fuel pump. It is unfortunate that most hybrids costs anywhere between $3000 and $5000 than their "gas only" counterparts and finding a good "used" hybrid is nearly impossible.
In this article, we will be looking at two fuel options for helping you to get huge fuel savings. Firstly finding the best deal on hybrid and secondly, how to convert your car into a hybrid. Ok, let us look at the best deals
To find the best deal, it is crucial to factor in all the angles. Let us start at some of the added benefits when you convert your car into a hybrid.
In some states like Virginia and California, they will allow a single occupant to use the high occupancy vehicle lane (carpool lane) if driving a qualified hybrid. If you've ever been stuck on the Capital Beltway or LA freeway during rush hour, you may fork over the few extra grand for just that little benefit alone.
If you are looking for a more of a monetary incentive ask the dealer about Federal and State tax benefits when considering to convert your car into a hybrid. It is possible to get even $5000 tax credit depending on the type of vehicle you buy and where you live.
With regards to cost, it all depends on what you want. But since most dealers can barely keep up with supplying hybrids, they are not very likely to make great incentive offers. If you need a car big enough for the whole family avoid the temptation of hybrid SUV's as the fuel savings is far less than that of a four of five seater car. If you only want a two seater, consider going for the smart car. Although also quite on the expensive side.
Now for the second option. You could convert your car into a hybrid (water fuel). Don't worry though, it sounds a lot harder than it actually is. I converted my 1994 Toyota Pickup for just under a $100 in only a few hours (including the time I spent on buying the parts).
I am not talking about having to change batteries or the way your engine works. You can currently build or buy a simple hydrogen conversion kit for under $100 and install it in less than an hour. It will also take only five minutes to remove if you ever wished to, (which I doubt) and it does not alter your engine.
There are two quick and easy way to convert your car into a hybrid. You can go for a system that uses ordinary tap water (from any household faucet), or one that uses distilled water. Both works really great and takes about the same to build and install.
In less than a month u will have recouped your money spent on the system and will only enjoy pure savings from then on forward.
